Membership
What do I get with an Explorer membership?
Full access to the Robotics Core (10 gated modules of technical depth), the Downrange event calendar with 180+ curated events and personalized feeds, and an Effector ID credential verifying your membership. You also get everything available to free readers.
What does Professional add on top of Explorer?
Four advanced analytical modules covering robotics economics, competitive landscape, company evaluation, and future directions. Professional-tier Downrange events (defense, advanced research). Thrusts and deep-dive research as they publish. Input on the research agenda.
How do I cancel or change my membership?
You can manage your subscription from the membership dashboard. Click 'Manage Subscription' to access the Stripe billing portal where you can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel. Access continues through the end of your billing period.
Do I keep my credentials if I cancel?
Yes. Credentials earned during your membership remain valid and publicly verifiable at id.endeff.com even after cancellation. Calendar feed tokens are revoked when your membership expires.
Is there a monthly option?
Yes. Explorer is available at $12/month or $99/year. Professional is $350/month or $3,000/year. Annual billing saves you over 30%.
Downrange (Event Calendar)
How do I subscribe to the calendar feed?
After signing up, visit the Downrange setup wizard to choose your sectors and preferences. You'll get a personalized iCal feed URL that you paste into Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, or Outlook. Events appear automatically.
How do I update my preferences?
Visit /downrange/setup to re-run the preference wizard at any time. Your feed URL stays the same; the content adapts to your updated preferences.
What happens if I revoke my feed token?
All calendar apps using that token will stop syncing. You can generate a new token from the feeds management page, but you will need to re-subscribe your calendar apps with the new URL.
Effector ID (Credentials)
What credentials can I earn?
Explorer+ members receive an End Effector Member credential on signup. Complete the Robotics Core to earn a Robotics Core Completion credential. Both are Open Badges v3 compatible and verifiable.
How do I share my credential?
Each credential has a public verification URL at id.endeff.com/verify/[id]. Share this link on LinkedIn, in your email signature, or anywhere you want to demonstrate your expertise.
Is my email visible on the verification page?
No. Verification pages display your name, credential type, and issuance date. Your email is never shown publicly.

How is my data protected?
Authentication is handled by Clerk (SOC 2 Type II certified). Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card details. You can request deletion of your data at any time. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
